Participants of the Project Management Advance Training Course Get Diplomas

In 2021, the Second School Center jointly with Norilsk Nickel and the V. Glazychev Department of Territorial Development of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) implemented the advance training course called "Management of Territorial Development Projects of the Pechenga District".

👨‍🎓 Today, the participants of the program, including representatives of subdivisions of the Murmansk Region Government, the Pechenga district local authorities, the Kola MMC, governmental bodies and the business community, as well as the Murmansk Region Development Corporation, successfully completed education in the framework of RANEPA advanced training corse and got a degree. During the three-modules program, participants have studied versatile areas of investment project development included in the Program of Socio-economic Development of the Pechenga Municipal District for 2021-2025, and formed competent teams that can create investment projects to contribute to the development of town, cities and shrinking territories.

📝 In December 2021, the project teams of the advanced training course defended their infrastructure projects.

The topics of infrastructure projects were the following:

- landscaping and creation of a nursery-garden for growing seedlings in a closed root system;

- construction of sewage facilities and reconstruction of water supply in the town of Nickel;

- developing of pedestrian Babikov Street with shopping zones and the adventure territory called "Arctic AdventureArea".

👍 This year, the teams are to continue their projects: they are going to complete investment application forms for the investment funds’ pitching.

To implement the plans effectively, the year 2022 started with a coordination meeting to realize the final territorial development projects of the Pechenga Municipal District and an organizational meeting with participants of project groups. The representatives of the Murmansk Region Gorernment, the administrative authorities of the Pechenga District, as well as representatives of Norilsk Nickel, Kola MMC, Technopol Group, the Second School Center and the participants of the project groups took part in the events.
